Factotum is a collection of various tools and utilities for the Mythras RPG system. A factotum is an employee, servant or official that has many different duties or responsibilities. I thought it was an appropriate name for a hopefully ever-growing collection of various uses.
I have a soft spot for Mythras. It is the system I picked up when looking for something new back in 2017. I had been playing another system exclusively for 2 years by that point and had grown tired of it. Mythras offered a much more flexible system with shorter, more meaningful combat. I only ran a series of short adventures with it, but I always retained a fondness for it.
Designing RPG tools is a hobby of mine. Amongst some other tools I made are Rampart (a character manager for the Delta Green system), Monad5 (a set of tools—not unlike this page—for the Shadowrun 5E system) as well as Monad//Map (a system-agnostic tool for generating stylised real-world maps for cyberpunk games).
